One of the things I enjoyed most about the 80's were the cartoons. I would watch them faithfully in Saturday mornings (do kids still do that?), after school, and in the mornings. Here's a list of some of my favorites:
Jem and the Holograms
Because of this cartoon, I started writing my own music. I don't know where my original tunes went, but I'm guessing they weren't bad. I loved everything about this cartoon - the fashions, the music, the story. The recently released movie didn't do the franchise justice!
Thundercats
This was another one of my favorites. Cartoon Network showed it while I was in college and watching it was one of my favorite study breaks. I loved the idea that there were alien cats out there, fighting for justice.

She-Ra
I love the cartoons that feature strong female characters. I love the idea that this princess has super human strength and saves the day!
